He says it’s an “attempted shake-down.” According to TMZ, rapper Busta Rhymes’ former assistant, Dashiel Gables, is planning to sue him for assault.
In addition to assault, Gables is also suing for wage theft, emotional harm, and battery. Busta told the outlet that the claims are bogus.
Busta’s dealing with this in the midst of recent career moves. Last week, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, appeared in The Naked Gun reboot alongside Liam Neeson, and is gearing up to release his new album, Vengeance.
